We are a Six Sigma company that also offers many direct hire, temp and temp to hire positions. We are currently looking for an Electrical Operator for our client.
JOB SUMMARY: Entry level position. Assists in the installation of conduit and electrical components into buildings. Requires basic math skills, ability to read blueprints, mechanical aptitude, and basic problem solving ability. Performs multiple routine or semi-complex tasks with limited exercise of judgment. Performs duties under close supervision. Assists more advanced employees in mid-level work for development and training.
# ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Bends and cuts various conduit per blueprint specification using appropriate tools.
2. Mounts electrical boxes, fixtures, and enclosures.
3. Stocks and sets up electrical wire carts.
4. Pulls wire through conduit and makes ground connections.
5. Reads blueprints to determine placement of wire.
6. Installs and covers receptacles and switches.
7. Performs other tasks as assigned by crewleader or supervisor.
# Qualifications and SKILLS:
1. Must possess high school diploma or GED
2. Must have basic electrical knowledge.
3. Must demonstrate basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
4. Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
5. Ability to read blueprints.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
7. Good judgment and attention to detail.
8. Ability to read, comprehend and assimilate information.
9. Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships and interact effectively with all levels of employees. Must be a team player.
10. Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets.

# PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to wear personal protective equipment including protective eyewear, hearing protection and steel-toed boots.
2. Ability to ascend, descend and work from a ladder.
3. Ability to stand, stoop and crouch to apply caulking.
4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when moving materials on the job.
5. Clarity of vision, with or without corrective lenses.
6. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions and environments.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
